Beau Dommage announces a brand new remixed version of their second album ‘Où est passée la noce’, originally released in 1975. This new remix edition, is the follow-up to the debut remix project ‘Beau Dommage’ and is released as part of the band’s 50th Anniversary Celebrations! The first featured track and longest song on the album “Un incident a Bois-des-Filion (Edition Remixée)” was at the time, a key reason they were classified a progressive rock group by fans and critics. The track remains one of the band’s most popular and currently is also the key featured track as heard in the brand new Beau Dommage Symphonic Tour performed by Orchestre Métropolitain, that launched August 30 in Quebec. This new edition was remixed by Ghyslain Luc Lavigne at the Studio Treatment Room in Montreal was created with full band approvals and participation of the original band members. Beau Dommage is considered Québec’s biggest-selling superstar band. They have achieved multi-platinum sales awards, have been recognized with a Canadian Postage Stamp and were inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2017. The band’s classic self-titled debut album includes the song “La complainte du phoque en Alaska”, which was named the #1 song in Québec’s musical history by the Journal de Montréal. Both the CD and vinyl options will include new liner notes, lyrics and photos from the band's archives, and the LP has been pressed on 180-gram black vinyl.
